Blobby — idle

Oh, hey.

What if scrolling taught you something?

Blobby slides in after a few minutes of doomscroll, asks one quick question, and sends you back. You learn. You move on.

Try one. Right now.

This is the whole product. One question. Twenty seconds. Then back to your day.

Blobby — asking

geography

Which country has the most time zones?

Pick one. The answer shows up right here.

Like that? Get Blobby and have one every few minutes of scroll.

Some apps try to stop you from scrolling. Blobby tries something different.

Two ways Blobby shows up

You pick which one.
Or run both.

Different sites can work differently. Set each one how you like.

01

Classic

Blobby drops in every so often with a question. You set how often. Nothing gets blocked. It just breaks the trance for twenty seconds, then lets you go.

02

Budget

Give a site a daily allowance. When it runs out, most apps lock you out and leave you there. Blobby sits with a question instead. Answer it right and you can buy minutes back, if you turn that on. Leave it off and the site stays shut.

Both run entirely on your device. Blobby knows a site is open and for how long. Never what's on it.

What you get.

  • Ten topics

Pick what you want to see, anywhere from history to nature.

  • Four variations

Blobby gets new looks to unlock, on top of the classic one.

  • Quiet hours

By default, it's quiet from 10pm to 8am. You can move that whenever you want.

Your scroll never leaves your device.
No trackers. No account required.

App names never leave your device. No analytics, anonymous or otherwise. The content of your feed is never inspected — Blobby only sees that some app is open and how long.

Firefox and Safari, eventually.

Reasonable questions.

  • Is it really free?

Yes. The free plan is permanent, not a trial — three topics, two sites, no daily cap. Pro removes those limits for €2.99/month.

  • Then how does it make money?

A Pro subscription, optional. No ads, ever. No data sales, ever. Both promises live in the privacy policy.

  • What about my data?

The intervention logic runs entirely on your device. The backend ships content packs and checks your Pro entitlement, nothing else. No fingerprinting. No third-party trackers.

  • Does it work on Safari?

Not yet. Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc work today. Firefox and Safari Web Extension ports are queued after we validate the loop.

  • What if I don't like trivia?

You pick the categories — history, science, geography, arts, literature, language, culture, tech, philosophy, nature. Skip what bores you.

  • Will it block apps?

No. That's not Blobby's job. Apps that block scroll leave you with nothing. Blobby gives you something small. You can still scroll.
